Hi

I've been looking around the web in an attempt to find a system/parts for a 'Mini PC'. The first hurdle I have hit is that I have got lost in the meanings. Cube PC, Mini PC, Mini ATX, Mini ITX and so forth.

I have just found the 'The Intel Silent PC' which I think MIGHT be what I'm looking for and was hoping someone could help me out. I figure I should just explain what I need?!

I want something very small and quiet that I can run Ubuntu for the purposes of self development away from windows. The system will be used for web browsing, blu ray, facebook, work (spread sheet/word processing). It is not required to play games. I intend to plug it into the LAN via a cable and to a HD TV using a DVI/HDMI cable (the small one, not the white one).

I would like it to run smoothly.

I quite fancied building something however realised I'm probably going to fall down!

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Steve

Ah yes!

Great thanks I was thinking this may do the trick, do you know if Ubuntu would run on this system? (not in a virtual environment)

Thanks again :)
