The only thing I noticed that is different is the motherboard. Would think make a good gaming comp?

If its a gaming PC I'd be tempted to:
  • Drop the CPU down to a i5-2500 (you wont notice much difference if any whilst gaming)
  • Drop the RAM down to 8GB, 16GB is just not needed for gaming at all
  • Change the first hard drive to a Caviar Black (its make for speedier booting and loading), change the second hard drive to either a Caviar Black or Green (the Green ones are good for storage drives)
  • Up the graphics card if you can, theres nothing wrong with the 560, but since the machine is primarily for gaming and GPU's drive teh gaming ability, the best GPU you can get will help :)
  • Get a better case for increased cooling power
  • Get the silver warranty, its only a fiver and extends the return and collect to a year.
