edimax wireless 802.11 n pci-e adapter and virgin media URGENT !!!

hi i just got my computer this morning and i got around to setting up my wifi i was setting it up and got to the select ur network and im only picking up the neighbours sky im with virgin media and have a superhub help fast thanks

You might have your SSID in your router configuration set to hidden.

You might need to log into the router and make sure your SSID is visible. Achieved by typing the router IP address in an internet page url.

IE : 192.168.0.1 or maybe 192.168.1.1

If you have not changed the router Login details they should be available underneath the hub.

**Note: If you have enabled Modem Mode on your Super Hub (the logo on the front will be glowing purple) you will need to use 192.168.100.1 instead.

Once you have logged in click the Advanced Settings button
In the Wireless section, click Primary Wireless Network (SSID1).
Tick the box labelled Enable SSID Broadcast.

Can you try accessing the settings page for your Router/virgin media broadband? You could try changing the wireless channel.

the channels set to auto and is on chaneel 6 i think what do i change it to ?
