IT Pro / Developer Spec

I am looking for a powerful machine which I want to use mainly for running virtual Microsoft server farms and software development. Hence, I am looking at these key features

  • SSD drive 1 for fast bootup.
  • Graphics performance for a non-gamer so
  • Ivy-Bridge Quad core cpu
  • 32 Gb Ram is a must
  • Good battery life
  • Blue-Ray for watching films whilst travelling or during long drawn out meetings:sleeping:
  • Really comfortable keyboard - can the backlit be turned off)

Note: Vortex verses Skyfire - can hold the same components so the only differentiation seems to be the premium speakers

I am not sure what changes I could make here that would alter the price without loosing the benefits - I would welcome any comments.

Finally, having to fork out my hard wages for this makes it very important I get best the system at the best price; rather going for say high end Dell or Samsung and a rigid spec.
Update: I have found a review of a slightly older model: http://www.kitguru.net/laptops/zardon/pc-specialist-vortex-iii-hd7s-17-3-laptop-review-i77970m . verdict battery life around 2 hours and not so portable but apart from that very glowing.
