That error is usually related to the hotkey driver,Try installing/reinstalling from driver disk or from manufacturers website ,you may need to uninstall existing hotkey software first then reinstall driver to stop the error.

Hi I too had the exact same problem and identfied this as the Hotkey software. This was promptly uninstalled and reinstalled from the driver disk as supplied by PCS. Problem disappeared for a few days and then low and behold came back. I must say this doesnt always happen but when it does it happens during the startup sequence. As far as im concerned its still unresolved.

Assuming you have a Clevo chassis (most laptops from PCS do I think?) you should go to the Clevo download site at http://clevo.com/en/e-services/download.asp. Select your Clevo model number from the first list. (You can find your Clevo model number on the bottom of your laptop). Then select OTHERS from the second list and you'll find the latest Hotkey driver for your OS in there. Download and install that version, it will be the latest one.

I'm getting this message after a recent update to Windows 10.

I've got a Clevo W550EU chasis but if I go to the Clevo download page for this model I can only find Hotkey downloads for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1

I can't seem to find any for Windows 10. Can I just go with the 8.1 version here or what should I do?

I've also been getting this regularly on a 2+ year old Vortex IV for about the last year. Uninstalled / reinstalled hotkey drivers multiple times but problem always comes back. The only temporary fix which works around 75% of the time is a reboot.
