Firewire or HDMI to USB 3.0

Hi

Does anyone know of any adapters/hubs that can convert FW800 or HDMI to USB 3.0??? I know Black Magic do one called the Ultra Studio but that's expensive

Need to ingest HDV tapes in to my lappy ... Seems I didn't check properly when I oredered it and I have no decent inputs for a supposedly 'purpose built editing laptop' ...

Are you looking for a way to get HDMI into your laptop? What laptop do you have? A HDMI > DVI converter is probably more appropriate (Depending on the inputs you have available).
