Kingston RAM: Beast or Fury ?

Hi all,

Just wondering which RAM to go for between 8gb Beast or 8gb Fury? The Fury is only £8 less so cost isn't really a factor.

Fury is the newer release by Kingston but is still slower (1600 vs 2133). Which would be the better choice for a high performance rig?

Cheers,
Jack

It all depends if you're overclocking your CPU or not, and what frequencies your motherboard supports. If you're not overclocking your CPU then 2400MHz (Beast) is pointless as you'll get no added benefit from it and would be better off with 1600MHz (Fury).

it also depends on what cpu cooler you have chosen and what style of ram you like.

The fury, will just be normal size sticks, whereas the beast have a different design and is slightly taller.
