The enquiries email address is a general point of contact and as a rule of thumb will be subject to at least a 48 hour wait for a response, the best way to email us is by logging into the website and using the internal system.
If you email us we will try to respond within 24 - 48 hours and in busy periods as soon as possible.
Mine took several weeks to arrive - probably due to Christmas and new year back log? It went through the testing probably a little too quickly though as faults were not noticed by PCS before I was sent my PC.
Same here, order number 374195. 9-13 working days quoted. 14 working days later, my order is still languishing in pre-production. An email I sent last week 'hoped my order would be completed' mid-this week. It clearly hasn't been. And according to PCS's own schedule, I may have up to 8 more working days to wait. They've now stopped responding to my emails. Calls to their order-tracking number just leave you dangling until it eventually cuts off. Some orders have fallen victim to something called the Intel Sandy Bridge effect. My order doesn't have a Sandy Bridge processor. Why is it so difficult to build a PC? Why is it si difficult to do customer relations? If I haven't heard anything by Monday, I'll have no choice, really, but to go elsewhere. I don't want to, it's a pain, but I'll have no choice.I'm trying to earn a living on a 286 laptop while I'm waiting for these guys, and I'm feeling poorly treated.
There is a current delay in production due to the Sandy Bridge issue and a slight backlog due to the amount of orders that were received for them, due to the Sandy Bridge issue our amount of daily emails and calls has tripled as all the Sandy Bridge customers, and potential Sandy Bridge customers are calling and emailing to find out if their orders are affect, me and PCRepair are currently staying late tonight (I type this from a very lonely office) going through all the emails to get them back up to speed so hopefully you should have a reply tonight Paranoid.
This is freak event and is not normal operating procedure for PC Specialist, we expect the delay to last until the end of this week with service resuming at a normal pace on the phones and emails starting next week (unless Intel drop another bombshell!).
Please be assured we are doing all we physically can to get all the orders out and get the service on the phones and emails back to normal, we are not purposely ignoring any customers and we are just going through a difficult period due to the issue with the Sandy Bridges and the backlog.
