Setup

The setup had its problems due to the windows 8 driver disc. I clearly stated before ordering that I plan on installing windows 7. The SSD was the primary drive and the trial windows was on it when I first booted the laptop.
So to install Windows 7 and the drivers for windows 7 I had to first copy the files from the cd driver disc to an usb drive as the laptop has no disc tray which I knew of course. After installing my own copy of windows 7 I tried installing the drivers but I got an error saying my OS wasn’t supported which made sense after I realised it was a windows 8 driver disc.
So to install the drivers I had to manually go into each driver folder and click setup. The LAN driver did not install though and I tried to install an early version from the manufactures website and still no luck. I will look into it more though and get it fixed when I have more free time.

Screen

Glossy QHD+ IPS LED (3200x1800)
Great screen but had to change the resolution to 1920x1080 as everything on the screen just appeared too small on the default 3200x1800. If I was to connect to a larger display though I would change it back to default.

Performance

The i7 quad core processor and the 860M GPU are well worth the investment.

Battery life

Not the best but to be expected with just a small laptop.

Fan

I heard a lot of complaints about the fan noise on the forums but so far it hasn’t caused too many problems. You hear it from time to time but shortly slows down. Of course I'm using it only around 6 days, so this could change, but I hope it will not.

Conclusion

Process could have gone a bit more smoothly with delivery and install but overall I am happy with the purchase.
