Backstory
Being a "lucky" owner of a previous HP 15.6 g6 laptop while studying CGT at the University I have decided to finally get something powerful and up to the tasks for the next 2-3 years. The very purpose of the laptop is to run with no problems ZBrush/3ds Max/Photoshop (at the same time once in a while) and some hardcore games when having spare 15-20 minutes (which means get them started in like 5 seconds). Giving a lot of thought about whether to go with the most powerful Quadro option or GTX870 I've figured I go for the youngest one, justifying it by having good gaming opportunities. I couldn't get the clear answer which one would outdone another in rendering.

This is my first built, considering some advice, I just went for quite powerful specs with 1.2TB of SSD, at the very last second I have decided to save some money on GPU (870 instead of 880), and CPU (2.90 instead of 3.10). The actual cost of the laptop was £1,902 (took also Zalman and a second monitor, so overall £2,099).

Reveiw (bit mixed)

Machine is absolutely wonderful, everything runs smoothly and multitasking is great. I simply love 8.1 "App vew". Laptop has clean, simple design and professional look.
Mostly play online shooters, so Killer is just what I needed to get a strong stable 5Ghz connection.
SSD installs/moves around files sized 3-10GB in seconds, so there is no wasting time on anything at all.
Zalman is also awesome, keeps my laptop frozen at all times.
Battery runs out after 2.5-3 hours (3.5 on power saving mode), I would not dare to expect more from it. Because of mostly I use laptop at home, I keep the battery on the shelf.
2.0 Webcam may not be brilliant but good enough for me and my parents or friends to have regular skype calls.

There is no word to describe the feeling of coming into the dark room and seeing the Keyboard Backlit multicolored. So nice.

Also was skeptical about Fingerprint option, but it's very accurate and makes a lot easier, quicker access to the desktop.

Did not have much time to test the laptop on any benchmarks/renders, but I just might do that and post it here later.
On top of all that, I checked the prices on the 2nd monitor and it appears PCS suggest a great deal. (only downside in the package were no HDMI/DP, but I assume the PCSpecialist simply can't know what comes in the box).

Overall, I couldn't be pleased more and thanks PCSpecialist for such competitive prices and service. I will definitely recommend you to friends and family, as well as upgrade my current beast in the future.

Any questions are welcome.

Apologies for any grammar/structural mistakes in the review, English is my second language.:smartass:

So far 10/10.
