please review these specs and comment

Looking for a gaming and for general use but haven't got a lot of cash if you can go lower than 800 and show me that its still capable of hardcore games that would be appreciated. Run current games with 60 fps and high settings.

You mention that you're wanting to play games at 60fps at high, I'd consider changing the GPU to the 860M or the GTX850 if possible. Also most games aren't that CPU intensive so consider saving some money and changing to an i5 processor. I hope this helped.

Does it have to be a laptop?

And the 840m is not designed for gaming, I have the 850m and it can run games on medium-high at 30-60fps depending on the game.

You won't be able to get a laptop for £800 that can run everything on high at 60fps, but you would be able to with a desktop.
