Z97 Motherboards...

I see the Maximus Hero motherboard has recently replaced the Maximus Gene, however to me the list seems very outdated and more geared to gamers.

Bar the Sabertooth and Gaming ROGS, the other motherboards either lack full functionality of a more recent Z97 board, and they have less connections, i.e like there's an Asus Pro Gamer version rather than the better Asus Pro version.

Is there any plans to expand on it by adding more feature rich boards like the AsRock Z97 Extreme6, Asus Z97 Deluxe or MSI range?

FYI - I noticed an error with the Sabertooth MK1. From Asus' website it actually has 6x SATA 6Gb/s ports, PCS shows this as only 4.

I think I saw a post on facebook that sort of indicated that some Asus boards could be available on request. When I sent an email regarding a specific board not available they said that it depends on the demand for the board and how many requests they get for it. I would assume the reason why it is geared for gamers is because it is where most of their demand is.

Interesting, i'm still deciding whether to upgrade to a Z97 or X99, and I trust PC Specialist more than any other custom build making websites, but the lack of mobo options right now is stopping me from making any decision, possibly even leaning towards building my own.

X99 wise the options for X99-S and X99-Deluxe are very welcome, Z97 not so much, and I think those options have been the same for a long while now. Be interested to hear if PCS have any plans to introduce any other boards. The Hero is a fantastic board, but again aimed mainly at gamers and/or overclockers.
