Its £688 which isn't too much of a push over my budget, but if anyone can recommend something cheaper that will do the same job, or an upgrade that would be worth getting please help out, thanks:)

Proceeding with this spec says that it only needs a CORSAIR 450W VS SERIES™ VS-450 POWER SUPPLY, is it necessary to have the 550W?

A few questions:

In the future i will be looking at running 3 monitors for a super widescreen gaming setup, is the GTX 960 capable of that? is the power supply enough or do i need to go way above 550W? Is it worth it/necessary to get the GTX 960 4GB version rather than the 2GB if im playing in high res?

Also if anyone has any recommendations on changing the spec in a different way please let me know, thanks

The gtx 960 will power 3 screens but for gaming it will struggle. For gaming in 3 screens for demanding games at high settings you are looking at having a sli set up with 2 stronger GPUs like the gtx 970

The h100i seems overkill for your set up, no need for it. If you want to spend more I would push for a better CPU like the i5 and/or a better gpu. I don't think you can futureproof a gaming rig for 5 years, not even with a higher budget.

As keynes said, the water cool is overkill. And the money spent on the SSD could be spend on a better GPU.

Here's the build I'd suggest:

As for making it future proof for 6 years, no computer will do that. You'd just be better off upgrading the GPU in 3 years time than spend more money now trying to achieve it.
