noob building first mid budget gaming rig

i am planning on building my first gaming rig. deciding to move over from console and starting out with a 500gbp rig to start me out with.

the components i am contemplating are:
AMD FX8350 Black Edition 8 Core Processor (4.0/4.2GHz, 8MB Level 3 Cache, 8MB Level 2 Cache, Socket AM3+, 125W, Retail Boxed)
MSI 970A-G43 AMD 970 ATX Motherboard (PCI-E, Socket AM3+)
G-Skill 8GB Ripjaws X DDR3 2133 Dual Kit - Red
Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti Graphics Card (2GB, GDDR5, PCI-Express 3.0
WD 1TB 3.5 inch Internal Hard Drive - Caviar Blue
Corsair Builder Series CXM 500W Modular 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX/EPS PSU
Cooler Master Elite 430 Advance - ATX Mid Tower Computer Case with Side Window Panel - Black with Red LED, USB 3.0

as of today the rig comes to 463.88 gbp on amazon.co.uk. i know some of the components are fairly old but for what i want to do with it i think it will be good enough. don't need a wireless card as it will be run through ethernet and i already have a 1080p monitor and all peripherals. looking to play the newer games but not too bothered about it being on ultra settings or at 60fps. games that will mainly be played are fifa 15, GTA V then majority of mmo games on steam. any suggestions of components to swap in and out still staying in the 500 budget would be much appreciated. i do not know a huge amount about building my own pc so i hope i havent made any stupid mistakes with either non compatible components or anything.

thanks

chris

The forum belongs to PCS who sells desktops/laptops. I am afraid it is not encouraged to give advice on self builds or other retailers

you gave someone advice on another post about things they could change on their setup but now your saying on mine i shouldn't be posting it here. nothing helpful to say then don't say anything. simple

Upgrade is not the same as building a rig from scratch. I am highlighing the rules of the forum. This is an open forum as well, I am free to post.

The forum is owned by PCS. PCS are a company that make a living by selling custom PC systems. Do you think they want their forum to be used to help people buy systems or all the components to make one themselves, from vendors other than PCS?

After them making that clear do you not think 'Post any machine builds you are contemplating' might mean PCS builds?

Dude there's no point arguing, those are the rules.

You can draw up a similar spec on PCS to discuss. But at £463 I think you'd struggle to match it here. So much so that I'm not convinced you could get those components genuinely that cheap on Amazon. Are you sure they're genuine parts?
