Motherboard Question

Evening all, i have already placed my order with Pc specialist, and at the moment it is still in the Pre-Production stage, i shall be running with a i7k processor and a Nvidia 970 card, right quick question i currently have a
Gigabyte Z97X Gaming 3: ATX, LG1150, USB 3.0, SATA 6GBs, XFIRE/SLI on order, is it better to spend a little bit more and get the ASUS® MAXIMUS VII RANGER mother board instead ? or shall i stick with what i already have ? I shall be using the Pc for gaming.

It wouldn't make a difference for gaming, maximus just has a slightly better onboard audio
