Inferno laptop taking forever to boot

Hi everyone, I've had this laptop from PC Specialist for about 1 and a half years now, and it has been running fine up until this point. For about a week now, the boot time on my Laptop has been horrendously slow. After the BIOS splash screen shows, it boots very quickly; waiting for the BIOS splash screen is what takes so long. Today I waited around 10 minutes just for the splash screen to show. I'm not sure what is wrong, once my computer boots it runs perfectly. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I would boot into the BIOS and take a look at your boot order. Make sure that there isn't a PXE (network boot) option before the cd drive or boot drive as that will slow it a lot.

What is the full spec of your laptop (W110ER).

Do you have an SSD fitted? If so how full is it? Does the SSD have the latest firmware?

And as stated by Spyder check bios boot order etc.

Whilst you're in the BIOS also check the Power On Self Test (POST). On some BIOSs you can select minimal or maximal tests, the maximal test setting will do a thorough hardware test on every boot. Select minimal if you can. I also think the boot order is a likely candidate.

I will ask my usual question though: What's changed? It was running fine up until about a week ago, so what changed about a week ago?
