Dual Monitor Setup

Not sure if this is the right place, but I have a question!

I'm grabbing a Nvidia 980 graphics card and am concerned about how it will work with a dual monitor setup.
I have 2 monitors already, but they only have a DVI I and a DVI D socket.

My question is, the Nvidia 980, can I connect two monitors with different display images, using a HDMI to DVI I converter cable?

EDIT: Obviously, one monitor will be connected using a standard DVI to DVI cable

I have a 970 and use the HDMI and DVI socket - But then I am lazy but also get irritated as both monitor display brightness and colors slightly differently due to using different connection.

First world problems!

Normal HDMI

My monitor supports HDMI DVI or VGA, I have 2 identical monitors.
My 970 supports
2x Dual-Link DVI
1x Display Port
1x HDMI

I just use the HDMI for my main monitor and the DVI for my second monitor.

Ah, that's the problem, apparently the 980 only has 1 DVI, 3 displayports and 1 HDMI

My monitors only have 2 DVI slots
