Intermittent WIFI drops after Windows 10 upgrade

Hi all,
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my WIFI keeps dropping out intermittently. It happens a lot and only lasts for a few seconds usually. Sometimes I have to drop the WIFI connection and reconnect and its working again, sometimes it fixes itself if I wait 20 seconds or so.

I have a Cosmos Series: 17.3" Matte Full HD LED Widescreen, bought in May this year.
The WIFI NIC is intel Wireless-N 7260.
I have downloaded the Intel(R) Driver Update Utility 2.2 and updated to the latest driver for this NIC "Wireless_18.12.1_ Win64".
This update has not fixed the issue :(

None of my other devices seem to be having this issue (tablets, phones, Win 7 PC).

Has anyone else experienced this issue since updating to Win10? (the problem did not exist for me with Win8).

All help and suggestions welcome.

Many thanks.

Driver issues are a known problem with Windows 10, see the thread at https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?43697-Windows-10-install-experiences. Over 30% of respondents there report continuing problems of one sort or another. I suspect that until true Windows 10 drivers are available for all your hardware there may well be little problems like this. I see little alternative but to wait for a full set of Windows 10 drivers to become available.

Bought a micro USB WIFI NIC and no problems with that.
Seems the Intel Proset NICs that are built into my new pcspecialist laptop are useless with Win10. I wander if any other pcspecialist customers have that issue?
Would prefer to not have to use the USB NIC, but thats the only way to get a stable connection for now :(

As I mentioned there are known driver issues with Windows 10 across many hardware platforms. Logon to your account on the PCS website and check under Windows 10 in the Download section of Tech Support to see whether any Windows 10 (or BIOS) updates have been released for your build. If not then, sadly, for now you'll have to use your USB adapter.
