You would be better with 1 970. The 950 isn't very powerful and 2 in SLI will just take up lower and give out more heat.

What's your budget? The build is very unbalanced in general. You'd be best off switching to a single more powerful gpu such as a 970 or 980 (whichever you can afford), dropping the second SSD and getting a WD black hard drive. Also, why do you need so much storage space? And I wouldn't bother with raid, it just increases the chances of data loss.

Also, there's no need for the k cpu or water cooler if not overclocking.

also do you recommend over cloaking? if this means itll speed up my video editing and gaming

Also do you think the 970 is good? or is there anything else from the list that is better? I don't want it to be more expensive than the 970

the 970 is the best for that price. What's your budget?

My budget really is not to go over £1470

I have merged all your threads together and they are now in 'Check This Spec', though threads get answered in both sections of the forum (but I figure if I moved it you wouldn't create any more).
It is better to stick to one thread then people don't end up asking the same questions.

People will give advice, but it helps if people can see changes that have been made and see what comments have been previously made.

Os will be installed to the SSD. You won't need any partitions, thing of the past really. Not necessary these days with SSD/HDD combinations.

If you want to add a second GPU in the future you'd be looking closer to a 1000W PSU to handle SLI, but of course you could upgrade that at the same time you do get a second card.

That clears a lot, thanks man! Also if I decided to upgrade to 32gb ddr3 ram later on would I need more power or will the 750W be enough? do you think I will need a 2nd gpu or is the one I picked good enough for rendering/gaming
