I ordered a DEFIANCE II 15.6 ‘’ in remplacement of my 4 year old lenovo y400 14’’. I’m impressed by the quality of the ips screen. In comparison with my y400 tn panel this one is a level above. I ordered this pc a Sunday and it arrived a Saturday (I live in France). Very fast shipping ! I’m pleased to have ordered a 5 days fast track dispatch.
I use this laptop mostly for gaming and scientifics apps. It is very powerfull with his 970m for gaming and very quiet when typing in word.
The body of the laptop is very strong due to his aluminium conception. The keyboard is good+ and the trackpad is large enough for good navigation.
Speakers are not very loud compared to the y400. There is literaly no bass. They are just good for gaming and youtube.
I had a little disapointment when i unboxed this laptop. In the pcspecialist configurator i checked a european power lead. They send me an european power lead ……, but a desktop power lead. I use the power lead of my previous laptop…. It’s just a 3 E option but if you don’t have this wire you can’t use the laptop.
In conclusion this laptop is a very powerfull machine well build. You can use it for gaming and as a productivity machine.
