PC for video editing

Hi
I am a stop-motion animator and an aspiring film maker. I am looking to build a machine on which I can edit and composite films in 1080p - I will most likely use either of the programs, Hitfilm or Adobe Premiere. I would also like to play some games on it, but I won't mind playing on lower graphical settings.
My budget is around $1000 before taxes. I have configured the following machine with that in mind, but since I have no experience in PC-building I would like to have some more qualified eyes on it before spending my money.
Among many other things, I wonder if the GTX 1050 Ti is overkill and if I should instead use my money on more SSD

I would be very grateful for any help you can offer!

Here are my specs - I have based my build somewhat on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWFGg9R0m64

When you say USD, are you based in the USA? I don't believe PCS ship there.

I would suggest a better case and a better CPU cooler.

That case is intended for pretty low end components and the things you have in there and might upgrade to in the future will end up getting pretty toasty. Any of the cases with 2 preinstalled fans would be a big upgrade. Plus they have front facing USB 3 which is a nice quality of life improvement.

Also the intel CPU cooler is a lot less effective than even a relatively cheap after market cooler like the Titan. It is also a lot louder under load.

I'd also suggest a better GPU like the GTX 1060 3gb.

This video is quite interesting for Premiere Pro: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7cQK8jFPzo And to take a chart from that video:

The 1060 3gb is quite a bit more powerful in terms of performance per £/$. it seems to be 34% more expensive but ~50% more powerful:

So it makes the performance of the whole system significantly higher in gaming and in some video editing tasks for a relatively small overall increase in cost. But obviously a budget is a budget. :)
