This is my second laptop from PC Specialist, and all I can say is that its brilliant! My first was fantastic and served me well for many years, however, like many laptops of the past it was quite bulky which led me to purchasing a macbook. After a year or so, although I loved having an extremely portable laptop, I began craving the power needed to play games again (something a macbook is just about capable of with older or less demanding games). Wanting something both poratble and powerful I found myself looking to buy the very pricey razer blade. I was so close to splashing out when I found the defiance III. Long story short, with the money I saved buying the defiance I was able to keep my macbook and have an amazingly powerful gaming laptop which I could still carry round to a friends place if need be.

That being said, the defiane itself is also extremely portable and can definitely be used as a primary laptop with no problems. It's got a beautiful sleek design, and I was impressed by the quality of the build. I was looking for something that wasnt too gamer-y, in terms of design, if you know what I mean and the defiance definitely delivered. The keyboard is stunning and great to use. SO if you're looking to get a device which allows you to play any game at the highest graphics settings, without breaking the bank and still being portable, I would 100% recommend the defiance III.

I know it's not the most in-depth review but I just wanted to give a very general picture, if you have any questions feel free to ask!

As a very happy Defiance II owner all I can say is welcome to the club (or back into the club, as the case may be :) )

You made a wise choice with the DIII and I am sure you will be very happy with it for a long time to come.

I know exactly what you mean about not looking too "game-y". I wanted something that wouldn't look out of place in the workplace too, so things like a multitude of multicoloured LEDs was a no no. Plus it's not really my own personal style with a computer either. :)
