Hi

Hoping some some guidance. Used for workplace. Mainly Photo & Video editing using adobe creative cloud products. Over the next 6-12 months will move to 4k video. No gaming. Is it best to go for the 6 core now to help future proof or should I save some money and go with Intel® Quad Core™i7-7700k.

Looking at running 2 x BENQ GL2760H 27" LED MONITORS with this build.

Could you also advise on the best case. Not concerned about colour and look, just best for the CPU and components.

I don't recall seeing your post before, sorry. Plus I've just started a pretty rough new job so my time to comment is more limited. Can't speak for anyone else though.

I'd probably suggest an AMD Ryzen build, which would let you get a CPU with similar IPC and frequencies but two more cores, and a more powerful GPU, for a similar price.

I'd suggest the Samsung 850 Evo.

The case you picked is actually quite good for the budget range.
