UltraNote: 14" 2013 model replacing DVD with SSD

hello,

I have UltraNote: 14" from 2013 and following are the specs for drives:

1st Hard Disk 240GB INTEL® 335 SERIES SSD, SATA 6 Gb/s (upto 500MB/sR | 450MB/sW)
M.2 SSD Drive NONE
DVD/BLU-RAY Drive Ultra Slim 8x SATA DVD±R/RW/Dual Layer (+ 24x CD-RW)

I was wondering if anyone here could let me know:

a) Does my laptop have space for a secondary SSD drive as reading above there was an option to have an extra ssd slotted in. If yes, where can I find this slot and what spec of ssd I need to buy such as size, speed, connector etc.
b) Ideally I would like to remove the DVD drive as its redundant and replace it with a caddy + SSD. Can someone please let me know what type of caddy I should go for as in size/spec/connector and ssd type/size/connector spec. and if possible a short how to guide.

Many thanks.

for A) does it have an M.2 slot or an mSata slot?

Asking as 2013 sounds a shade early for M.2 and some Ultranotes were sold with mSata despite the configurator saying M.2 (e.g. https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?35465-120gb-intel-or-240gb-kingston-SSD)

Either way you can get an SSD for it, it's just a question of working out what kind you need to buy.

If you're not sure and nobody here can say, if you give us the Clevo chassis model off the underside we can look it up. Also you can have a look for yourself by opening the laptop up, which you'll need to do anyway to install the stuff :)
