So this is my first gaming laptop, it arrived a few weeks ago so I've had time to use it now and get a good impression of it. I have a desktop I've previously bought from PCSpecialist but I'm looking to do some traveling early next year and I need the mobility that a desktop can't provide.
I'm very happy with the quality and the feel of the laptop, its solid but not too heavy so easy enough to carry around, fits perfect in my laptop case and I get the impression that its built to last. I haven't used an SSD before and it is blazing fast as other reviews have described, really impressed by this and my desktops HDD is sluggish by comparison. With these specs I play all the games in my library pretty much fine so I'm happy with that.
Although a laptop is always going to be more expensive than a desktop of the same specs
The only downside I can see is the panel on the back on the screen holds finger prints really well but I'm not bothered about this too much.
