24'' VanGuard II all in one pc

I've been looking for a pc for a while and when I came across this all in one it looked amazing, the only problem is I haven't found any images (apart from the stock ones on PC Specialist) or any reviews, videos or information. If anyone has this all in one or can direct me to a review or something, it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not aware of any in magazines, and having had a quick google I couldn't immediately see people commented on reddit, or other forums.

I'd link you to this thread: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?57542-New-all-in-one-advice where I made the case that if an All-In-One isn't strictly necessary, a PC with a separate monitor could be the better option and offer similar or better hardware for a lower price.

That's not to say there's anything wrong with the Vanguard - just that if a desktop PC is an option it could be the better choice.

Thanks Oussebon,

I haven't made my mind up between an all in one or a desktop pc yet, but I will take your advice and consider my options. I originally wanted a gaming pc but now I would prefer to have a home workstation, for the desktop I originally wanted to have: an I5 7500 cpu, ASUS PRIME Z270-P motherboard, 2x4gb corsair vengeance ram, 1tb hard drive, 450w power supply, inwin 101 case and a Titan DragonFly Cooler (along with various other parts) but after seeing the Vanguard all in one I couldn't decide which was better. The parts for it were similar to the desktop and the prices were about the same. Thanks for your help although I am still trying to find out information about the vanguard. (opinions on parts would also be appreciated)

I'd advocate against the i5 7500 - the i3 8100 and Z370P will be cheaper, and the i3 8100 is basically the same (being 8th Gen, it too is a quad core like the i5 7500 - unlike older i3s that were all dual cores)

Edit: Had a quick check and it's about £40 cheaper. For only £20 more than the i5 7500 + Z270P, you can get the i5 8400 which has 2 more cores.

I will look into the i3, I couldn't find it on PC Specialist but I will keep looking because I'm probably going through the wrong tabs. My budget is around 700-800 so if there's any better systems then that would also be helpful.

I will also look into the i5

I'd strongly recommend an SSD for work uses, as it's a major asset to productivity. Windows and programs load faster and the PC feels more responsive during general use. If you don't need to store lots and lots of data you could even drop the hard drive to save £.

With the Inwin 101 I would suggest getting 2 case fans as I believe it doesn't have any of its own...

That's extremely helpful, thanks. I was just wondering when you purchase the pc with windows 10, if you don't have a disk drive space in the case what do you do, because I have no clue how that works regarding installing the software. Would you require an external dvd drive or would pc specialist install the operating system before they send you the pc.

There is an M2 SSD in the build Oussebon posted and windows would be installed onto that along with drivers etc.

As above. Also with regards to:

If you do ever need to perform a clean install of Windows, you can do it without a DVD drive by creating the installation media on USB with a download direct from Microsoft: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10

Installing from USB would be faster than doing it from DVD too, even if you did have a DVD drive.
