Cpu- i7 7700k stock
Cryorig h5
Gpu- 1050ti stock (gpu upgraded once prices go down, to a 1080ti)
Mobo-Msi z270 pro
16g balistix sport 2400mhz
Corsair 850w
Asus VG278Q 144hz 1ms 1080p

So with the 1050ti and vsync off I get about an average of 75 fps on pubg but the screen tears and it's annoying v-sync obviously ill get a consistant 60fps just wondering if there is an easy solution to this and I understand a 1080ti is a bit over kill for 1080p but will I still have to worry about screen tearing?

Yes, it can still happen if you don't use vsync. It's not worth getting a 1080 ti for 1080p anyway, and especially if you think it will solve screen tearing - because it won't.

You could always get a gsync monitor, or just use vsync.

The general rule is: G-Sync monitors for Nvidia graphic cards, Free-Sync monitors for AMD graphic cards.
You have 2 choices:
Sell your monitor and buy a more expensive G-Sync monitor for the same quality.
Sell your graphic card and buy an AMD card instead.

I nearly bought the same monitor as you until I read about the sync options.
I had to pay over £100 extra for a monitor with G-Sync, Nvidia/Intel showing the world how to make $$$.
To compensate I swapped out the Intel 8700K for the AMD 1800X processor... with glee!

I don't often find myself recommending 24" gsync screens as they can easily double the price of a 1080p 144hz monitor. And almost all 24" monitors will be 1080p. Many 1440p 144hz gsync monitors are only about £100 more than a 1080p one.

Yes, the price difference G-Sync puts on a 24" is enormous. It's frustrating. You can probably buy a good 27" non-G-Sync for less than a 24" G-Sync. But I'm bound to the 24" range due to lack of space (and because I just don't like enormous monitors). I'll probably end up going for the AOC AG241QG, paying the price but at least getting 1440 resolution into the bargain.

1440p is much more popular at 27" but if space just doesn't allow then you should still enjoy benefits from the higher res.
