PC Specialist Vortex Plugged in, Charging but Not Charging Problem

Hello, i have a strange problem on my PC Specialist laptop (Clevo P170SM) with GTX 980M. The laptop was actually rarely used since its purchase in March 2015. One day it ceased to charge the battery. It says Plugged in, Charging and the percentage does not go up. I even left it for 2 days to charge but to no avail. The battery was stopped at 41, i have let it run down, tried all suggestions found on the web such as removing the battery, deleting the battery drivers in Windows 10, running the computer from a Linux USB and still the same. The battery deterioration is a whopping 1 percent according to HW Monitor and it was working perfectly fine just the day before. Any suggestions on what i should try?I have reset the BIOS to default and reset the CMOS battery. Is there a way i could reinstall BIOS or find an update for BIOS (PC Specialist does not provide any BIOS downloads). Any help would be really appreciated.

Try generating a battery report and see whether the battery itself is at fault. Open a command prompt and enter the command 'powercfg /batteryreport' (without the prompts).
