Getting into Bios

Hi All,
I've bought a laptop from pcspecials to use as a Linux machine. Normally to install Linux I'd hit delete rapidly to get into bios. However this doesn't appear to work on this laptop ( Optimus ). Can anyone advise how I get into the bios on this model?
Thanks

Thanks for the answer. But that didn't work. I've now tried all the fs( I think ) back space and del but no luck

Got help from their message system, windows was not fully turning off. Had to use command prompt as admin then shutdown /s /t 0. The f2 will work

Ah, yes. That will be the Windows Fast Boot feature. Fast Boot hibernates the kernel and you do have to use the shutdown command you found to force Windows to shutdown the kernel. Well spotted! :)
