Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a new laptop for heavy video editing and effects work (After Effects, Maya 3D...), if possible could you have a quick look at the spec bellow to see if they will be ok or have any suggestion?
Budget is around £1300, which this is just around at £1332
Cheers! :)

Thanks, noting going to lie though did have a hand with the build :)

Only other question is would you recommend the same specs in the Defiance XS II instead of the Recoli II?

I quite like the addition of the finger print sensor and better USB options, only disadvantage would be the bezel I think? But not sure also on the difference in battery life, and heat disputation if anyone knows the differences??

Thanks again

What I was getting at is that if you manually configured that spec you can get the same spec off this page: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/reviews/ with a ~£100 discount. It's listed as out of stock but since it;s brand new I suspect PCS are just waiting on some parts. Worth calling them to ask about the Recoil bit-tech review spec.

You could go with the Defiance for the higher refresh rate and gsync. It depends what that's worth to you. It would start increasing the price quite a lot.
