Hi, I am also looking for a new desktop for gaming, recording and streaming. I have no idea about computers, could someone tell me which option would be best for these requirements?

Hello! A friend of mine is looking for a laptop to play the game. She'd prefer not to spend more than US$700 and I was wondering if there was anything available for that that meets the recommended requirements? Thanks!

Hi!
I want to buy a new laptop that runs The Sims 4 smoothly on at least medium settings and is fast with everyday tasks and good for watching videos and movies without any issues. Could anyone please recommend a laptop around £500 that meets or is close to the recommended requirements for The Sims 4? Right now I am thinking of buying Acer Aspire 5 A515-51G-574F but I don't know if it's the best option for the price.
I can't post links but without the spaces the link is:

I really hope someone who knows about the best laptops on a budget can recommend something to me. I don't even know if anyone will see this comment but thank you in advance. heh

Thanks very much @phoebebebe13 ! I was able to find it on Amazon and I've passed that information on to my friend.

That's not going to play the game well at all.
You would need to go over the budget to get something that goes close to recommended specs,

Hello! I am also looking for a gaming laptop. Sims 4 is the only game that I play. Hope someone can help me take a look at the two potential choices that I found.

The first one (cheaper, currently on sale):

The second one (my budget):

I found them from the website of my region's main retailer. If you have time, hope you can also take a look at it, whether there are better alternatives >_< There are filter options in terms of brand, processors, etc.

Regarding the two choices, are there any major differences between them that will affect the gaming experience? I hope I can buy a laptop that can last long and will allow me to play the game on ultra. Thanks!!

I am also looking for either a gaming laptop or desktop to run sims on ultra/high graphics, stream and record gameplay. At the moment I'm looking at desktops as I've heard they are better for gaming. I'm rubbish with tech stuff so can someone tell me which specs are better with these options? And will any of these meet my requirements?

I've moved your post to a new thread as it's best not to piggyback onto other people's discussions.

PC Specialist sell custom PCs and laptops in the UK and Europe. As you've buying in $ and your say your local place is in Hong Kong(?), I'm afraid we can't help with advice. If I've got that wrong and you're shopping in the UK for delivery to the UK / EU then we can certainly suggest PC Specialist specs if you give your budget.

You could try another, open forum.

What I would say is that buying very much out of date hardware like 3rd Gen Intel and AMD FX series sounds like a terrible idea in general, and especially for streaming. You may want to look into computers with an AMD Ryzen CPU. Good luck :)

The moderators (it took two of us) have removed the links you posted because the forum rules do not permit the posting of competitor's links.

This is also a very confusing post and I recommend you consider simplifying what it is that you want before posting on other fora. :)

Sorry - I was posting from my phone and pasting requirements from another forum I posted in. In that forum it is preferred to piggyback other discussions rather than take up room with repetitive posts, I didnt' realise. Also, my laptop isn't working and it's hard to navigate what I'm doing from my phone so I accidentally pasted the whole post discussion. Anyway - these are the desktops I looked at (I'm from the UK)

ADMI E-Sports Ultra Gaming PC: AMD FX-4300 4GHz Turbo Quad Core CPU, ASUS M5A78L-M PLUS/USB3 Motherboard, Geforce GTX 1050 2GB DDR5 Graphics Card, Seagate 1TB Hard Drive, 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 Memory, HDMI 1080p, USB 3.0, WiFi, Corsair SPEC-04 Black/Grey LED Gaming Case, Windows 10 Trial included

Thanks in advance.

As above, we can't advise on non-PC Specialist specs - and to advise on a spec from PC Specialist we need your budget :)
