Recoil II power up issues

Hello,

I have a Recoil II, newly delivered in the past few weeks, I'm loving it apart from one issue.

The power button is not very responsive, sometime taking upwards of 3/4 presses to turn on the laptop. Not the end of the world I know.

However, the laptop does not power up at all without a connected mains supply, even with a full battery the mains has to be connected before it can power on.

Has anyone experienced similar issues?

Th power button issue is possibly a design feature, to prevent the laptop being tuned on accidentally?

The inability to turn on whilst only on battery is a problem, probably a dead battery (whatever Windows might say). You need to call PCS (don't email, phone them) and talk this over with them. I suspect you'll need a new battery.
