Monitor for gaming question

Hi all, not sure if this is the right section to post this but here goes. I am going to buy the Vulcan https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/configure-review/267/ and my budget for a gaming monitor is around £200 maybe a little higher. But what would be the best value monitor to get which is ideally around 27'' Inches and is suitable for FPS Gaming Online and Off as well as generic gaming. I was looking at the below. Please advise if any of these are good or if I should be looking at other options?

1 and 3 are 1440p 60hz. 2 is 1080p 144hz. These kind of specs are appropriate for the budget, and a fair pairing for the system.

For shooters, I would have said 1080p 144hz, therefore the gb2788hs-b2

These again are 1440p 60hz. So same comments as above.

They're both freesync monitors so wouldn't work with your graphics card (as far as synchronised refresh rate).
Agreed. Though I usually argue that a gsync monitor isn't worth it at 1080p for 99% of people due to the cost. They're usually £300-400 and for that kind of cash one might as well just buy a 1440p 144hz gsync monitor for £450 anyway. Gsync is expensive anyway but the price premium seems really ludicrous at 1080p.

Not sure if they are better alternatives to

Or should I stick to gb2788hs-b2 for FPS gaming?
There are a lot of alternatives, especially in the 24" size range, e.g. AOC G2460PF, AOC G2590PX, ASUS VG248QE. And there will doubtless be a lot of other 17" 1080p 144hz monitors too. They're all offering pretty similar things. Just look up reviews for the model you're minded to go with and make a decision from there :)

You're comparing vastly different monitors.

Much appreciated, having a look through again. If I really could stretch my budget this probably is a good option for the 27'' range at 1440p

This is 1440p 144hz freesync

I would say either:
a) stick to 1080p 144hz monitors around £200 (e.g. the VG248QE you linked)
b) go for 1440p 144hz gsync at ~£450 plus

Anything else like 1080p gsync (~£300+) or 1440p 144hz non-gsync (£350+) doesn't seem like good value. Why spend £350 on a monitor that isn't going to have adaptive refresh rate working for your graphics card.

I think a 1080p 144hz monitor is your best option for now.

I was thinking the same. As much as I would like a big 27'' monitor that 24'' monitor seems to be the best bet. Unless there is a 25' that ill top that but for now it is looking like the VG248QE :)
