Defiance V thermals?

I was pretty sure that someone already posted something about that but i can't find it , does anyone knows how the defiance V is handling thermals , lot of people talked about really high temeratures and PCSpecialist staff answered that there was a BIOS update to fix it , but can anyone tell me if it's really fixed and idle/gaming/stress test temperatures? this is something i find really important when considering buying such a PC.

Issue isn't fixed, I received my Defiance V yesterday and have requested an RMA today. Even with a cooling stand the temperatures are ridiculous, as reported by many others the top left of the laptop gets stupidly hot.

Not sure where to go next as I really want a 17” screen but I don’t fancy paying the prices of the Octane V.

There have been several fairly recent threads, at least four to my knowledge, all complaining about high temps on the Defiance V. If you count the post above that makes five. I don't work for PCS but it's my understanding that the updated BIOS undervolts the CPU and that sounds more like a workaround than a fix to me. It's my personal opinion that the Defiance V has design issues that cause it to run hot and because of that I would not personally advise buying one.

Please note that these are my personal opinions, I don't work for PCS and I have access to no insider information.
