I am new to PCs and don't really know whats good and what is not. My current budget is around £900 and I already have a monitor, keyboard and mouse. Any help would be appreciated.

What’s it for? What monitor will you be pairing it with?

PC would mainly be for gaming, but towards the cheaper side, not looking for top specs. As for the monitor being paired with it its an old DELL monitor, I'd plan to buy a better one later on.

Suggesting an appropriate gaming PC does depend a fair bit on the monitor you are using. What is your old dell (is it 1024 x 768? 720p? 1080p?) How much do you think you'll spend on your future monitor? £100? £200? £500?

And roughly when would you buy it? 2 weeks, a year?

We can suggest generic specs for around £900 but they might not be a good match or good value for you without a sense of what it's going to be powering. :)
