Hello everyone !
I just got my hands on a new Recoil II laptop, i didn't bought the laptop from pcspecialist and i'm not sure if it's registered on platform. After reseting windows i realised i don't have the software to control the fans and the RGB lights anymore. Is there any way to gain acces to drivers and software ?

One would normally download them from the main PCS website account where one placed the order.

As you didn't buy the laptop from PCS, you may need to register the laptop with them

www.pcspecialist.co.uk/register/XXXXXX

Change the XX's to the six or seven digit number of your order number (white sticker on the back of the PC or bottom of laptop).

The order number is usually a ~7 digit number on a white sticker on the underside of the system, I think
edit: lawl, it says that in the thing I quoted without reading...

If that doesn't work you could phone them on Monday and explain the situation

So heres my experience whit PCS support :
1st call -> a nice guy offers to send me the drivers and the software that control LED and fans via email after asked me "P/N" which was really cool, but somehow i did not revice any email, i guess there was some misspelling whit my address.
2nd call -> not so nice guy told me that apparently there is no way to get the software and drivers if i won't transfer the warranty first from the account that was bought.(didn't ask any info about the product) :(
This i found it very odd to be honest, why first dude offer to send me drivers and second one told me is kinda illegal to send me drivers manualy, i mean i understand i won't get warranty but at least the software and drivers should be accesible. All other producers/ressellers that come in my mind have public download servers for this kind of data. Anyway i do have no issues whit laptop and works fine but i have no control on LED keyboard which is anoying. Overall not the greatest experience whit PCS :(

Well, quite apart from the drivers issue, would the original owner transfer the warranty? Can you persuade them to do so?

As well as giving you access to the drivers it would also give you cover for parts failures.

The person who gave me the laptop is not the same with the buyer so would be pretty hard or even impossible to transfer warranty under my account. As i said there are no issues with drivers, the only problem are the LED keyboard and the fan controller software. If someone can share a link with this software would be greatly appreciated :)
