Wanted to upgrade my PC as I've had the same one for about 6 years (have updated GFX card and RAM since but it's still getting on a bit). I've been designing some fancy systems. Ended up creating this one. Its a bit of an expensive build so just want some people who know there stuff to either confirm that this is worth the money and will be a beast for years to come, or to tell me that there are much better configs out there that will last longer and perform better.

It's not at all worth it. You can get better for cheaper , but if it's not urgent I'd suggest holding off.

A new gen of Nvidia GPUs are expected to be announced on 20th August, and new Intel CPUs are also expected to come out in October. At the very least, wait for the new GPUs and review options then. Will also help to give advice if we know your budget and what monitor you're using when the time comes :)

Theres no set budget but would be nice to not go too far over £3000. This build is about £3300.

Monitor wise I've got 3x 24inch ASUS Monitors. All 1080p no 4k or anything. Theyre great monitors but they have many annoying issues that mean somewhere down the line I'll probably replace at least one of them with a fancier monitor. Maybe 4k or higher refresh rate.

You should be able to afford both a very high end gaming PC and the monitor for £3000-£3300, easily. I'd suggest waiting until Nvidia's new GPUs are announced, and then checking options. Hopefully in a bit over a week if things go as everyone expects.
