After the customization, they are built the laptop while few days. My order was a Proteus VI (Quanta NL5C based) laptop. This machine supplied with a mostl high-end hardware, RGB backlit keyboard, and touchpad. Stylish, brushed aluminum surfaces and the blue led stripes give you a very high quality feel. I'm really glad to have chosen this machine.

Experiences with the machine:
The packaging is simple but powerful and functional

Itself the computer, as I told, beautiful. This machine made with the brushed aluminium and high quality plastic surfaces.

The hardware environment, is absolutely fast, and useful
The machine boot time is aproximately 15-20 seconds
The (adjustable) RGB backlit keyboard nice, and convenient.
The games run very smoothly. The 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor with six cores, without turbo is maximally drives up the Geforce GTX 1070
Yes, I turned off the turbo, because it is not necessary. The base 2 GHz frequency, and the six core, absolutely enough. With the turbo function, the CPU is sometimes reaches the 90-95 degrees. I think this is not healthy...

The fans sometimes loud, but it is doesn't disturbs me. The fans never ran maximally speed, what is 4000 RPM. By the way I can turn on to the maximum speed of the fans, with the "Fn + 1" combination.

With this configuration, the CPU, and the GPU max temperature is 60-67 degrees, while I playing with ultra graphical details. (f.e.: Far Cry 5)
I highly recomend this laptop for everyone.

I'm looking at getting an almost identical laptop to this one. Have you had any problems with it at all, especially if you have been making it work hard?

I do not have a problem... it is fact, that turbo boost feature is heats the CPU well. But! I do not use the turbo, in turn I play the most recent games, beside non turbo environment... What is the difference? few seconds slower loading of the game. wow! By the way nothing. Everything is fast, and responsive. In return for, the CPU temperature does not exceed 70 degrees.

Turbo boost doesn't just affect loading time but the CPU frequencies can significantly affect framerate in some titles.

If you have to turn off turbo boost to use your laptop due to temps, the laptop is faulty. If you choose to turn it off because you just want to, then that's your choice.

I tested the machine in, nonturbo mode; with the FC5 ultra detailed settings in fullHD resolution. The game runing very smoothly. The CPU while gaming, doesn't reaches the 70 degrees... If I turn on the turbo boost, then the CPU runs on very-very high temperature. Does it reaches also the 93-95 Celsius.
This processor is very hot ...I dont know, that the temps able to decrease, with another thermal compound (for example: Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut Liquid Metal Thermal Paste), but I would to try it. BTW the fans suck lot of dust... I checked the case's bottom, and I seen after one month, that the ventilation grille is was discolored from the dust.
sooner or later, I must disassemble the laptop's bottom, so that I clean the fans.
The question is, is this does not involve a loss of warranty?

how can I disassemble this machine, if it's need? I do not want to damage.

I didn't say all games would see a performance hit, just some Probably things like FO4, Assassin's Creed Origins/Odyssey, certain strategy titles, certain MMOs...

PCS have an open case policy, such that you can open the PC/laptop to clean / repaste / upgrade certain components without it upgrading the warranty.

If you need detailed instructions on how to open the laptop for dusting, repasting, and general maintenance, I suggest you contact PCS. They may be able to give you a service manual for the chassis, or talk you through the key things.
