Gaming PC help needed

I am looking to a build a PC purely for playing games at 1440p resolution at 60fps+ and this what I had in mind for my max budget.

I do have a few concerns as I am a novice when it comes to this.

(I was thinking of downgrading to the Asus Rog Strix Z370 motherboard)

1st) I intend to add additional SSDs in the future, will this case, PSU and motherboard support more than 4 SSds and 1-2 HDD?

2nd) will this CPU cooler be sufficient enough to keep the cpu cool enough even OC?

3rd) will the PSU be able to accommodate an additional 16gb of RAM?

Thanks for taking the time. :)

Is that the full spec, or are you buying any things like keyboards, monitors, mice, anything you'd not shown above?

What is the price that all this came to?

What is your budget?

What monitor will you be pairing this with?

What will you use the system for other than gaming? (i.e. why do you think you might need more RAM)?

This is the full spec.

I plan to get a ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q 27 inch Gaming Monitor (2560 x 1440) in the near future.

Budget: £2400 max this build falls just short of that.

Nothing other than gaming, thought abit additional RAM (32gb) will slightly increase speed.

It won't. In fact, 2x8gb is the optimum. It's also cheaper.

I would "drop" the motherboard to the Gigabyte Ultra Gaming. I say "drop" because the performance will be identical and it still has a huge number of features, many of which you will never use. But it's over £100 less expensive. Remember that the Z370 motherboards are already the most expensive tier of motherboards for these CPUs, so none of them are actually cheap.

The Ultra Gaming will support 2 NVMe SSDs and 6 HDDs/Sata SSDs. The full details of what exact combos of storage are in the manual.

Rather than stuffing the system full of drives, may I suggest just buying bigger drives to begin with? So if you think your 1TB HDD is going to get full really fast, just buy a 3TB HDD which is only £28 more giving you 3x the space. I expect it's also a bit faster too.

Power consumption of these devices is pretty trivial so the PSU etc won't be an issue.

The case probably won't support 6 HDDs. It says it supports 2+1 HDDs. You find that modern cases often tend not to support so many HDDs, what with cloud storage, network storage, and larger HDDs all being more common - and cases going for a very clean aesthetic (tempered glass side, shrouded everything) inside tend to shun lots of HDDs as the HDD cage rack and all the cables are a bit unsightly.

The 250gb 860 Evo + 500gb 970 Evo looks like a weird choice. Just go for a 1TB 970 Evo which will be larger and faster.

I plan to get a ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q 27 inch Gaming Monitor (2560 x 1440) in the near future.
How near in the future? If it's several months away, buying a 1080 ti now for it is a bit of a gamble, and an expensive one at that.

2nd) will this CPU cooler be sufficient enough to keep the cpu cool enough even OC?
Yes, but if buying an OC you m might as well get a spec PCS have OCed for you so you get some kind of OC covered by the warranty:
