PC Spec - YouTube Live Stream - Advise / Help Needed

I am here asking for some help if you don't mind.

My knowledge is kinda entry level when it comes to PC hardware. I know my way around a PC, but I dont know what hardware is good, in what combination. (hope that makes sense)

I have a PC at the moment, its an old Intel I7 the spec is

Now I know that is an old machine, had it a few years, but never really done any live streaming on the machine until now. When I use OBS or even the Elgato software, the Elgato card tells me I can't render the stream in 60fps or 30 fps.

When I use OBS, it does send the stream to Youtube but to say its choppy is a huge understatement.

I have speced out a new machine from PCSpecialist, but my worry is due to my lack of knowledge, I will buy this machine and it still won't be able to cope with the live stream, and I will still have the same issues.

I will add that the Elgato card is a HD 60 Pro (PCIe card)

The spec of the mahcine is below, would anyone be able to comment as to what they think, and if it will be OK to do the above job.

What's your budget? What did the above cost?

When you say you're streaming, are you streaming from console via the PC? Or streaming games that you are running via the PC?

The above came in at £1800 inc VAT.

I will be streaming from a Nintendo Switch, using the Elgato HD 60 Pro.

I have to say, I'd have expected your old PC to handle that? Not that I'm an expert, but the CPU is decent enough. Have you tried troubleshooting and maybe getting advice on forums like Tom's Hardware or Reddit?

Very similar spec but £100 cheaper, with faster RAM and a more expensive mobo with faster wifi.

Just to check, are you going to game on this PC or is it just for streaming? If you are gaming, what monitor are you using?

Thanks for that, this machine will be for streaming, with a little playing or FS19 and WOW.

But apart from that no other games.

In all honesty then it's major, major overkill for those uses.

There's no real point to the Pro HDD, you're not going to get any benefit close to proportionate to the cost.

250gb SSD should be more than enough for Windows, programs, and a couple of games.

A GTX 1070 ti for 1080p gaming is excessive.

An AMD Ryzen 7 2700x would be a better choice for streaming where you are streaming games on the PC (e.g. if you decide to stream some WoW). And I believe it is also cheaper. Steaming from console via the Elgato should work with any mid-range CPU tbh, I am very surprised it doesn't with your current one.
