Can you identify this glitch?

Hey folks,

I've been having an issue with a PC that's a few years old, and i'm pretty sure a hardware component has died, but I'm unsure which. I've checked for loose connections inside and out.

Here's a video of the weird glitch I'm getting, apologies for the dodgy camera work:

The PC also won't boot, it asks for the auto-repair to be run which fails every time.

If you take the graphics card out and plug the monitor into the motherboard's video output, what happens?

Heya,

did you try the monitor on another system and/or with another cable(s), just to make sure it's still working alright?
Do those artefacts start right away or only once you reach Windows?
