Recoil II Battery Swap

I've noticed the Recoil II looks pretty great, except for the low battery life. It comes with an option to buy 2 batteries, does anybody know how easy it is to swap batteries over?
ie, is the second battery intended as a spare for if the first one breaks, or would it be practical to carry the spare around and change the batteries over on the fly when the first one is running low?

Thanks for your advice!

So doesn't look like you can remove the battery from the outside, you'd need to take off the whole back cover which isn't practical for on-the-fly.

We got a spare battery with our old Optimus that you could swap on the fly. But it was bulky, impractical, we were rarely far enough away from a power source for long enough for it to be necessary, and in short it's £60 I won't get back even though it seemed like a good idea at the time. So even if it had been possible for the Recoil it wouldn't be the solution for everyone.

This is what I'm settling on so far then. It's for work mostly, which is why I want it to be as light as possible, but since I'm selling my desktop to help finance it I'd still like it to be able to manage some gaming if the desire creeps back in.
Can anyone spot anything glaringly stupid that I've done? I've built my own desktops before but laptops are new to me and I'd love some opinions.
Thanks for all the help!

Is there a specific requirement for so much RAM, what are your uses?

Yeah, my desktop is 32GB and I occasionally find it can't handle the number of windows I have open. Wouldn't want that to happen any more often.

I've actually just noticed that the 17" version is pretty much the exact same price...
It will only be slightly heavier. Might go for that as well.

What windows, what are you going to use the system for? What software, and what uses?

If it's generic gaming and office type uses, it's not the RAM that's the issue...

Windows 10, programming mostly in matlab and python.
Opening large numbers of files for simultaneous analysis is usually the problem. The CPU will be a bit of a downgrade from my desktop so I imagine that will be more of an issue than the RAM, but like I said I'm just trying to make sure I get the most out of a very light and portable laptop as possible!
That or being lazy and just not closing windows when I'm done with them in browser etc.

That makes sense then, Matlab is quite hungry!

I just ordered a Getac GK5CN-00-13-4S1P-0 (15.2V, 4100mAh/32Wh) for my Recoil II. It's wider that the original battery so you need to sacrifice the 2.5'' bay. It worked like a charm for me.
