Hi! Received our new mini pc yesterday and have just found the time to set it up, but there's no power lead! I wanted to check this isn't normal before I contact PCS on Monday. I assume it should come with a power lead, right? Thanks!

Yes, it should definitely come with a power lead. Is it a standard kettle lead input or a smaller power supply input?

They're open Saturday 9-5 they may be able to ship it to you for monday if you call up tomorrow.

I thought I could use the lead from our big pc but it's definitely a smaller one. Will give them a call tomorrow, didn't realise they were open.
Actually just noticed it's the same size as the lead that feeds into our laptop lead transformer box. Can I just use that?

It’s doubtful it will give enough power but worth trying.

Checked my order history and the laptop lead is 1 x UK Power Lead & 40W AC Adaptor
The mini pc should have come with 1 x 1 Metre UK Power Cable (Kettle Lead)
And below is a pic of the power supply "in" bit from the mini pc, and the laptop power supply (which says 13A)

I won't do any damage will I?

ah, no, that's absolutely fine, I thought it was more of a power brick with a small adapter end like this:

the smaller end being the input.

What you've got there is a straight "figure of eight" as they call them which is just a standard input from the mains, won't do any damage at all using that.
