Hi,

6 weeks ago, I bought a pc from pcspecialists.

Specs here:
CPU: I7 8700k
Mobo: Asus Rog Strix Z370 E gaming
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 3200mhz
PSU: Corsair TX650m

My own GPU: Asus Nvidia GeForce 2GB GTX 670 DirectCU II

Problems started from day one.

Can’t play any game for more than 15mins. GPU keeps crashing and pc starts lagging so much, that only hard reset helps. GPU temperatures not exceeding 60C (in stress tests or in games)
When game hangs, in most cases there is some kind of “pulsating” sound, even my case’s LED lighting “pulsing” in same rhythm- not changing gradually as they should (asus aura).

Graphic card was running fine on the old machine: no crashes, lags or any nonsense.

Tried everything I could possibly find on the internet. Just the few things here:
-scan for malware
-formatted & reinstall Windows (2 times)
-CPU OC/no OC
-GPU downclock
-uninstall & reinstall driver, DDU etc (tried older versions and most up to date).
-updated BIOS, reset CMOS
-stress test using Prime95- no crash- temps max 65C
-power options is on high performance

I’m planning to buy a new GPU, but I don’t think my current one is a culprit here.
Dodgy PSU? Faulty Mobo?

Have you tried removing and reseating the GPU, making sure it's clicked properly into the place, and disconnecting and reconnecting the cables from the PSU?

Can you put the graphics card back in the old PC to check that it still works? If it does I would call PCS.

And what's most bizarre, gpu works without crashes on major gpu stress tests. I guess, I'll just need to buy a bit more up to date card...
