I am looking to check that I haven’t made any mistakes in this spec.
The idea was for a budget but quality laptop to be used as a general home/office laptop.
There is no gaming requirement. Just Documents, Spreadsheets, Presentations, Web, Email....
The laptop will mainly be used for Authoring books 100 - 400 pages with many pictures and illustrations.
The M.2 SSD (boot drive) was to speed up Start up, Shut down and loading / saving the books being worked on.
The Standard HDD for storing finished Books Illustrations and Pictures and whatever else.
The operating system will be Ubuntu 18.04 (Linux) - The Office Software will be the (default Libreoffice) or Openoffice
The budget was about £400
I am not (totally) sure that the Pentium CPU has the required built in Graphics ?
Dose anyone have Ubuntu 18.04 running on one of these ????
