Useful programs
We have assembled a list of the most useful programs
If you contact the tech support you might be asked to run some of them and send us the results.
This list is not completed and we might change some links in the future, it is simply meant to give you some programs that we in the PC Specialist Tech Support use and trust.

They are all free to use! :shifty:

Good list :)

Which tests would PCS recommend running / not running? Also worth mentioning AVX instructions, as otherwise people will have CPUs hit 100 degrees instantly and wonder what happened.

https://benchmark.unigine.com/superpositionExtreme performance and stability test for PC hardware: video card, power supply, cooling system. Check your rig in stock and overclocking modes with real-life load!
Ungine Valley and Unigine Heaven are older benchmarks by the same people. Valley is, however, still sometimes used by GPU reviewers. It's also quite a pleasant benchmark :)

3dMark Firestrike and Timespy are (conspiciously?) absent here.

HWinfo is great, and can also be combined with rivatuner statistics server to create on-screen displays (overlaid onto your games) of hardware usage.

Worth mentioning MSI Afterburner, which includes RTSS, and can display much of the same info as HWinfo including per-thread CPU load - and very importantly to gamers it also allows for a frame-time graph. Very useful for troubleshooting performance issues, especially in games that don't play nice with vsync.
