Nvidia released new high end GPUs that aren't worth considering for your budget.
One snag, which is that PC Specialist have stopped selling 2x4gb 3000MHz/2933MHz RAM for Ryzen systems.
So you may want to just get 16gb 2933MHz RAM at the upper end of your budget and at least you will be sorted for the lifetime of your system.
Also the 970 Evo's price is only £1 more than the WD Black .. and it also has a copy of AC:Odyssey...

As for what's around the corner immediately, AMD might release an RX 590, which people are expecting to be a dolled up RX 580. It could be more expensive, especially at first, though so I'd probably proceed with the RX 580 and the free games at the current price. i.e. the only thing on the horizon is a monitor refresh of a GPU, no big new waves of tech.
hello im new here and I am interested in this build too. I have 1 question though which is: would it better if I changed the thermal paste from standard to cooler master master gel? Would the extra 9 pounds be worth that?
