Worth every penny - Cosmos VII

So it's been seven years or so since I bought a new laptop and things have really come on a bit since then... to say the least. I wanted a good, fast laptop for handling art and illustration programs and decided, after a lot of shopping around, that having one built for me by PC Specialist would be the best way to go about it. I was not disapointed.
I went for the 15.6" Cosmos VII -

With a couple of tweaks of Windows 10 Professional, improved thermal paste and no anti-virus as I always use Norton.
The laptop is lightning fast, very slim and handles every program I run on it without the slightest bit of slowdown at all. Windows 10 is compatible with the Wacom Intuos 5 drivers for my graphics tablet (Oh yes it is, if not then you just haven't downloaded the latest correct ones from Wacom's website).
And on top of all that I got two free games to play on it, which I haven't downloaded yet - Assassins Creed and the latest COD.
In summary I couldn't be happier with it.
Oh yes, and it turned up three days earlier than I expected it!DSC_0860.jpg

Thanks for the review! Glad you're happy.

Very happy with it. I know little about computers really, they may as well work by having little pixies running around on cogs inside for all I know. The pixies in this laptop though are doing a great job!

You know more than you let on I think? There are indeed pixies running around inside your laptop. Most people call them electrons but pixies will do just as well.

Glad you like it, I've had to send mine back, came with a US keyboard. Looking at yours, my keys seem to let an awful lot of light out, yours look much flatter and not so bright but just right. Even my other half commented and he's clueless with technology.

What was the full spec you ordered?

Received last Tuesday sent back Wednesday. I also had a problem with the Caps Lock as well, couldn't see where a light was which is a bugger when you are putting passwords in. I also remembered after I'd had the conversation with PCS that first time I switched on, thought I heard a single beep.

Sorry for high jacking another member's thread.
