Hey guys I'm new, I didn't know where else to post this so sorry if it's in the wrong place but I need a bit of help.
So before I ordered a PC, I have looked at reviews of this website and most of them said that you would get notified on progress as it is being built.
It's been 2 days since I've ordered and I've not got any notif anywhere, though I don't know where I'm supposed to be getting them to begin with.
I have looked here and on my email.

You don't usually get a notification until it moves into build and it can take a couple of weeks for it to reach that stage. If anything is out of stock PCS will contact you to see whether you want to wait or go with a different component, otherwise you won't hear anything.

It's a horrible wait, we've all been there, but it will pass. :)

If you log into your main PCS account it will give a status like "Pre-Production".

Most builds will spend the majority of time as "pre-production" which means they've got your order and will build it in turn after the other orders people placed before yours. If you ordered on finance there will often be a stage before that ("pending approval", or something) Once they start building, the process goes very quickly, normally.

Edit: ninja'd

What spec did you order out of interest, and what will you be using the PC for?

Oh, never knew I could get an account there. Never really saw.
I ordered without making one so I guess I can't check?
Anyways to answer your question I ordered most of the essential stuff, minus the GPU which I already have along with a cheap HDD because I was going to put my old one in the new case. I only did this so that I could have a piece of mind that it would work when I get it and I got it so I can play fallout 76 (amongst other things too)
Can't fully remember what the specs were though.

So, if you didn't order it off PCS, but it's a custom build, where did you order it from..? ebuyer?

But I have? Are they not supposed to let me order if I'm not registerred?
It was based on the Fusion XT which I configured to have a couple different parts.

It probably automatically created an account for you when you bought the machine if you didn't register before ordering - it uses your email address as a username.

Fair enough, it didn't even occur to me that it would be possible to order without an account or that anyone would want to order without one if it were. :) But yes, if you make an account on PC Specialist you can get appropriate downloads for the system, see info about your order, order upgrades from PCS, all kinds of potentially useful stuff

As Rakk says it may even have made you an account when you ordered.

Maybe but I don't know what it would have registered me as. I tried the email I gave them with the password for the forum account, but idk it didn't work

You should be able to use your email address (that you used when ordering) to login, and use the forgot password option if you don't remember setting up a password.
The main site and the forums are completely separate so have different usernames and passwords.

The forum account and main PC Specialist accounts are separate. Mine have different passwords.
