Novice question

I am a bit of a novice looking for advice on a 1st gaming pc for my sons Christmas. At the moment he plays on the Xbox (F1, Fortnite etc but wants to move to a PC.
Is there any of the models prebuilt on the site suitable or would you recommend reconfiguring/upgrading certain components?
I don't require monitors etc and I was hoping to keep the budget under £800
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Should play most demanding modern titles on high-ultra.

I would strongly recommend the B450 motherboard - however PCS list it as out of stock until 30th Dec... which is a bit ridiculous if true. The performance will be the same regardless of the motherboard, but the B450 gives a lot more options for the price.

Thanks again Oussebon, I ordered it on 16th November, I will look into the free games thanks. Do you know if that spec of PC would be suitable to run an Oculus Rift VR headset?

It meets / beats the minimum requirements: https://support.oculus.com/170128916778795/

Although as the website puts it:
Certain experiences on Rift require a computer system exceeding Oculus's minimum or recommended specifications.

i.e. it's probably not gonna max out every quality setting in every game. But that's true of regular gaming too and pretty normal for a mid-range build.
